Teaching Force and Motion
Hey y'all! Teaching force and motion is one of my favorite kindergarten and first grade units. It's so easy to incorporate movement into these lessons and students usually catch on pretty quickly. On Monday, we read a book about force and motion and how things move. Then, we fill in our little foldable illustrating different ways to move. Tuesday through Thursday, students visit a series of stations investigating how things move.
They experiment with gravity, sort pushes and pulls, read a book about force, and more. These stations are always favorites in my classroom.
I hope you found some new ideas for your next force and motion unit. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week and I'll talk to you soon.
Stay cozy,
NICE
